Course objectives:
|
The aim of the subject is to provide the students with general introduction to the topic of exploring the Middle East, particularly with its physical and social geography and secondly to learn them the basics of scholar work. Students learn about the basic facts of Middle East region. They become familiar with the nature of various scholar sources that can be used during the study and the basics of scholar work, which includes in particular the rules for the use of non-own texts, features of professional style, bibliographic references, objectives and basic methods.
