Spa - history and its importance to tourism. Wellness and its relationship to the spa. Bathhouse departments wellness facility and management. Balneo-devices and healthcare department. Marketing in Spa facility, spa industry and wellness. Spa/wellness economics. World and Czech spas. New trends and technology in spa and wellness management. Seminar lessons: Presentation of Spas and Spa business or wellness facilities - example of best practice. Excursion - visit Spa/wellness business with the lecture. Solving a selected case study related to spa/wellness business (acquaint with the study, situation analysis including an understanding of market trends, solution proposals, discussion)
