Course content
1. atmosphere classification and components, air pollution, main pollutants, emissions, immissions, emission factors, basic quantities and calculations 2. solid particles separation, particulate motion equation, physical principles of separation 3. dry mechanical separators 4. wet mechanical separators 5. electrical separators, VA characteristics of electrical separators 6. filters, industrial filtration and atmospheric air filtration 7. gaseous pollutants separation, basic principles of methods, absorption, adsorption, condensation, oxidation, reduction, biological methods 8. reducing emissions from fossil fuel combustion, flue gas desulphurisation, flue gas denitrification 9. legislative in air protection, pollution charges, calculation methodology, air pollutants measurement, emission measurement 10. hydrosphere classification and components, water pollution, pollutants, pollution of surface and ground water 11. waste water, waste water treatment methods, water management technology 12. wastes and waste management, methods of waste disposal, landfilling, hazardous and dangerous waste disposal, biological, thermal, physical and chemical waste treatment 13. waste management, packaging management, legislation in water protection and waste management
