1. Analog and digital signal sources and their technical parameters in a sound systems 2. Impedance and level matching of analog signal sources 3. Impedance and level matching of functional blocks in audio chain, coupled circuits, communication transformer 4. Interference effects in analog and digital audio signal transmission, electromagnetic and electrostatic induction 5. Balanced and unbalanced signal interfaces, technical parameters and methodology of their design, balanced receivers and transmitters 6. Balanced interfaces of analog and digital microphones, synchronization of digital microphones 7. Technical parameters of audio signals and equipment, signal levels, dynamic range, hw level indicators - PPM, TP-PPM, VU - analog/digital implementation, technical parameters 8. Measurement of loudness level, methods for peak and loudness signal normalization, technical parameters and implementation 9. Digital interfaces of audio equipment, sampling frequencies, methods for synchronization and sync signals, interface normalization 10. Sampling process and impact of jitter on digital audio signal transmission, transfer function of jitter, impact of interference on digital audio interfaces 11. Methods for source coding of audio signals, degradation of audio signals, audio codecs, perturbative artifacts of coding , objective methods for audio quality measurement of wideband audio signals 12.
