Course content

Thematic report Basic quantities and laws of theory of electrical engineering. Analysis of simpler linear electrical circuits in steady-state and transient-state. Electric power. Analogy of electric circuits and mechanical systems. Energy and forces in electromagnetic field. Magnetic circuits. Introduction to electric machines. Principles of operation of electric machines - transformers, asynchronous, synchronous and direct-current machines. Torque characteristics of motors.
