Course content
This course provides an overview of the possibilities of creating models in a CAD application (with a focus on Solidworks) and perform static and dynamic analysis of models of electrical equipment. The obtained knowledge students can use in the design of specific electrical system and the creation of its technical documentation. The subject places demands on the independent work of the student. Topics of lectures: CAD systems and their capabilities Creation of parts, assemblies and drawings Static analysis of model Fatigue analysis, structural analysis Motion study Analysis of the model in other applications Practice: Creation of parts and assemblies Creation of drawings Creation of the model for the analysis Static Analysis Thermal analysis, impact of cooling Preparing of a model for 3D printing Fatigue analysis Structural analysis Motion study Evaluation of the analysis, selection of optimal design variant Using the model in other applications
