Course content
Lectures 1. Basic terms in chemistry. Selected quantities, basic chemical calculations. 2. Basics of nomenclature of inorganic compounds. 3. Structure of the atom. PSP. 4. Structure of molecules. Chemical bond. 5. Physical and chemical processes. Chemical reactions and their notation. 6. Redox reaction. 7. Protolytic reactions. 8. Group states of substances. State behavior of gases and liquids. 9. Basic terms from chemical thermodynamics. Heat, work, the first theorem of thermodynamics. 10. The second and third theorems of thermodynamics, combined formulation. 11. Chemical equilibrium. 12. Phase equilibria. 13. Fundamentals of electrochemistry. 14. Reaction kinetics. 15. Dispersion systems. Seminars 1. Nomenclature of inorganic compounds. 2. Nomenclature of complex compounds. 3. Basic chemical calculations - mass of atoms and molecules, mass, density. 4. Composition of the system - mass, volume and molar fraction, substance concentration, molality. 5. Chemical reactions and equations - numbering of equations. 6. Calculations from chemical equations I. 7. Calculations from chemical equations II. 8. State behavior of gases and liquids. 9. Basics of thermodynamics - calculation of heat and work. 10. Chemical equilibrium. 11. Balances in electrolyte solutions - calculation of pH. 12. Fundamentals of electrochemistry - Faraday's law. 13. Electrode potentials. 14. Repetition 15. Credit test

determines the value of the equilibrium constant and decides on the effect of the reaction conditions on the given system
