Course content
1. Molecular genetics - repetition of basic concepts 2. Gene mutations and changes in gene structure as a cause of tumors 3. Human genome and carcinogenesis 4. Introduction to tumor biology 5. The genetic basis of tumor development 6. Genes critical for cancer development 7. Hereditary forms of cancer 8. Investigation methods in cytogenetics 9. Investigation methods in molecular diagnostics 10. Genetic counseling - indications 11. Tumor biomarkers 12. Prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer I. 13. Prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer II.
