Course content
|
Lecture 1. Review of concepts related to self-defense - "weapon", "necessary defense", "extreme emergency" and other institutes excluding illegality in relation to the Criminal Code, or the Act on Misdemeanors. Reminder of objects that can be used as a weapon when attacking a rescuer and objects that can be used for self-defense itself. Exercise 1. Principles of preventing a possible attack - I do not underestimate the situation, attention, safe distance, hands, feet, head attacks. I must be careful of my stance (non-conflict, combative) and also of my surroundings including obstacles, objects and other people. 2. Self-defense in stance - movement in stances, changes of stances and transitions (stance x ground). 3. Variants of fall techniques - in front, in back, over obstacles. 4. Practice of other variants of covers and blocks when attacking with a hand/foot. 5. Freeing yourself from grips on the hands, neck, head and clothing and subsequent techniques for immobilizing the attacker and eliminating him. 6. Practicing various variants of punches and kicks that can be used in self-defense when performing the activities of a paramedic. 7. Other variants when using technical means and other means that can be used in self-defense (tear gas, vehicle equipment, objects in pockets, etc.. Model situations Part I (surroundings of the vehicle and inside the vehicle). 8. Solving various variants of attacks - model situations Part II (inside buildings - corridors, rooms, stairs). 9. Final practical examination - solving a selected model situation including the basic application of legal concepts and possible provision of first aid in case of injury to the attacker.
