Learning activities and teaching methods
Practicum
  • Contact hours - 22 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 30 hours per semester

Knowledge
to characterize the principles and procedures of therapeutic classical massage and scar treatment
to justify safety of work, massage effects, indications and contraindications of massage
to define massage touches
to enumerate workplace equipment and possible aids
Skills
to perform a scar treatment and selected types of classical massage, including the total massages, namely in the desired procedure with correct choice of tactile touches
