Lectures 1. Definition, history and types of palliative care. 2. Psychospiritual care. 3. Symptoms of patients in palliative care. 4. Terminal status symptoms. 5. Ethical aspects. 6. Legal Aspects. 7. Counseling. 8. Communication with the dying. 9. Communication with the family of the dying. 10. The role of ergotherapist in palliative care. 11. Ergotherapy in palliative care. Practicals 1. Pain, pain relief. 2. Spiritual care. 3. The principles of proper communication. 4. Patient needs. 5. Ergotherapy in immobile patients in palliative care. 6. Practicing everday daily activities in palliative care. 7. Creative techniques. 8. Music therapy in palliative care. 9. Counseling in nursing rehabilitation . 10. Training of cognitive functions. 11. Excursion.
