Course content
Practicals 1. Elements of the Bobath concept in children, inhibition techniques, facilitation techniques. 2. Elements of the Bobath concept - feeding, handling. 3. Swallowing failure, compensatory strategies. 4. Elements from Bobath's positioning concept. 5. Elements of the Bobath concept-wearing and repacking a baby, game. 6. Examination of motor functions using standardized tests, observation of the child in natural conditions. 7. Examination and determination of the goal of ergotherapy based on ICF. 8. Orofacial stimulation during feeding failure. 9. Practical compilation of goals and short-term and long-term plans for ergotherapy in pediatrics. 10. Special sensory functions training in ergotherapy of children 1. 11. Special sensory functions training in ergotherapy of children 2. 12. Special sensory integration by Ayres.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Practical training (number of hours) - 24 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester
