Course content
lectures: 1st Phototherapy - an electromagnetic wave spectrum, light, and its distribution, physical properties of light. Infrared radiation - classification, effects, source, dosage, indications. 2nd Ultraviolet radiation - distribution, effects on the tissue and organism, source, dosage, indications, contraindications. Visible light - classification, indication. 3rd Laser therapy - a principle effects on the tissue and organism, dosage, treatment technique, precautions, indications, contraindications. 4th Electrotherapy - electric units and quantities, conductors, insulators and semiconductors, the distribution by frequency electrotherapy. 5th Current flow through the tissues and its effects galvanotherapy happening at the contact of the skin and the electrode pads. 6th Happens in the current path, kataelektrotonus, anaelektrotonus, falling and rising currents, current density. 7th Galvanization - basic components of the device for electroplating, electrodes and electrode pads, dosage, indications and contraindications. 8th Limb galvanic bath, Stanger galvanic bath. 9th Iontophoresis - principles, practical applications of drug applied from the cathode and anode, their indications. 10th Low-frequency therapy. 11th Electrodiagnostics. tutorials: 1st Contact electrotherapy? Introduction. 2nd The application of galvanic current and iontophoresis - mechanism of action, practical design, indications, contraindications. 3rd Application of low-frequency currents? Diadynamic, Trabert, - mechanism of action, practical design, indications, contraindications. 4th Application of low-frequency currents - TENS - mechanism of action, practical design, indications, contraindications. 5th Application waveforms - classical interference, isoplanární and dipole vector, mechanism of action, practical design, indications, contraindications. 6th Application medium frequency currents - isoplanar and dipole vector, mechanism of action, practical design, indications, contraindications. 7th Electrodiagnostics - a system of examinations conducted in patients with peripheral paresis and other muscle weakening, meaning in clinical practice, indications, contraindications. 8th Electrostimulation, electrogymnastics - a system of examinations conducted in patients with peripheral paresthesias and other muscle weakening, meaning in clinical practice, indications, contraindications. 9th Electrogymnastics - a system of examinations conducted in patients with peripheral paresis and other muscle weakening, meaning in clinical practice, indications, contraindications. 10th Reflexology Massage? mechanism of action, the practical implementation of basic massage techniques, indications, contraindications. 11th Reflexology Massage? nuchal set 12th Reflexology Massage? backrest set. 13th Practical testing.
