Course content
1. Functional anatomy and kinesiology of the cervical, lumbar spine and pelvis. 2. Examination of the cervical spine actively, passively, isometrically. 3. Examination of the cervical spine in segments. 4. Mobilization of each segment of the cervical spine. 5. Examination and mobilization of the C-Th transition. 6. Examination and mobilization of the thoracic spine. 7. Examination and mobilisation of the lumbar spine. 8. Examination and mobilization of the SI joint. 9. Manual traction of the cervical and thoracic spine. 10. Manual traction of the lumbar spine. 11. Examination and treatment of the ribs. 12. Practical testing.

Practicum
  • Contact hours - 24 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 30 hours per semester

Knowledge
After completing the course students are able to examine and treat soft tissue and make diagnose of functional disorder in the locomotor system, manually examine and treat pelvis and upper limbs

to demonstrate basic diagnostics and therapy of soft tissues and peripheral joints within functional disorders of the motor system.
