Course content
Based on the examination goal setting and planning short-term therapy program according to the needs of the client, management and education of clients within the therapeutic units in individual and group therapy, training, self-sufficiency in living personal and instrumental daily activities, applications, of biomechanical, of rehabilitation, neurodevelopment and psychosocial approach in the short and long-term occupational therapy program in neurorehabiliaci and other display areas, adjustment recommendations domestic and work environment, the use of standardized tests for the detection of problem areas of the client, training in cognitive functions.

Clinical practice under supervision
  • Contact hours - 160 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 5 hours per semester

Knowledge
to explain the purpose and theoretical nature of all tasks performed in the professional practice
Skills
on the basis of occupational therapy examination to set the goal of therapy and compile short-term and long-term occupational therapy program
to apply therapeutic activities and techniques adequate to the overall condition of the client and with regard to the diagnosis and prescription of the doctor
to educate the client to active cooperation
to work with the client's family and other members of the multidisciplinary team
