Course content
|
Health protection in natural conditions and in households; prevention. Care unit and its equipment; admission, transfer and discharge of patients/clients. Beds, their types and equipment. Care of adults' and children's hygiene, decubiti treatment. Nutrition, its kinds and dietary care. Caring for hydration. Methods for measuring and recording physiological functions - blood pressure, temperature, pulse and breathing. Meeting the needs for a safe and secure environment. Ways of satisfying needs of sleep and rest. Methods of reducing anxiety and fear. Methods of taking samples of biological material.
