Course content
Syllabus of lectures: Clinical propedeutics, its significance and inclusion in the system of clinical disciplines. Health and disease. Etiology of pathogenesis. Introduction to Syndromology. Anamnesis, its breakdown and its components. The main subjective symptoms and their detection. Basics of Physical Examination, Major Objective Symptoms. Main physiological functions and their significance. Consciousness and its disorders - qualitative and quantitative. Definition of death from the point of view of brain functions. Signs of death. Imaging, electrophysiological and functional examination methods. RTG, CT, isotope examination, ultrasonic examination, nuclear magnetic resonance. ECG, stress tests, EEG, EMG. Laboratory examination methods, biochemical, hematological, microbiological. Biopsy. Methods of collection of biological material. Endoscopy. Special and alternative treatments. Treatment with blood and blood derivatives. Oxygen treatment, hyperbaric chamber. Diet therapy. Medical rehabilitation. Syllabus of exercises: Examination of the head, neck and oral cavity. Examination of chest, heart and lungs. Examination of the abdomen and abdominal organs. Examination of limbs.
