Course content
1. Clinical Examination, its significance and inclusion in the clinical disciplines. Health and illness. History, its structure and components. 2. The main subjective symptoms and their detection. Introduction to syndromology. 3. Subjective symptoms according to organ systems. 4. Basic physical examination, assessment of vital signs, basic objective symptoms. 5. Objective symptoms according to organ systems. 6. Consciousness and its disorders - qualitative and quantitative. Definition of death in terms of brain function. Signs of death. 7. ECG. 8. Laboratory examination methods in a report. Biochemical, haematological, microbiological. Biopsy. Methods of collecting biological material. Endoscopy. 9. Imaging. X-ray, CT, isotope examination, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging. 10. Stress tests, EEG, EMG, functional and electrophysiological methods of investigation. Patient Monitoring - principles and technology. 1 to 2 Patient access, basic principles of investigation, communication, greeting, announcement message. The structure of history. 3 to 4 Medical history, symptoms and syndromes. 5 to 6 Physical examination. 7th Consciousness and its disorders - qualitative and quantitative. Determination of death. 8th ECG. 9 to 10 Laboratory tests - physiological values. Indications various investigative methods and monitoring according to the patient's condition.

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
