Course content
Graduates: - They are able to evaluate on the basis of input data of medical history of the patient and to propose appropriate nursing care plan and the procedure. - Determine the optimum choice of sedation and anesthesia in selected patients and diagnoses. - Ssou able to identify possible contraindications different types of anesthesia and sedation. - Characterize and are able to optimally preventively and therapeutically intervene in early and late complications after surgery related to nursing care for acute conditions in surgery. - Within nursing. process are able to respect the specifics of post-operative care for individual diagnoses and conditions. - They are able to adequately intervene in the area of ??nutrition patients describe nutritional assessment for individual patients in certain acute conditions in surgery. - Correctly establish a plan of nursing care and educational plan in a patient following surgery. - Apply the nursing process and intervention in the surgical intensive care medicine (intensive care units) in accordance with the current health condition of the patient and treatment indications. - They are able to independently and responsibly make decisions in acute situations and conditions in patients at ARO and ICU - based on general assignment. - They are able to enter under the framework and the resources allocated to coordinate the activities of the team, taking responsibility for its results.

Curriculum: - Acute abdominal pain - inflammatory acute abdomen, ileus acute abdomen, acute abdominal trauma. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention and nursing care. Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, complications, prevention. - Acute conditions in obstetrics (bleeding, DIC, disturbance advertising placenta, placental separation disorder, embolism). - Acute conditions in ENT. Tracheotomy and other options to secure the airway. - Burns, burns, frostbite - the depth, breadth of areas, evaluate the overall condition of the patient, location. First aid. Etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, prevention. The importance and possibilities of plastic surgery. - Specialized preoperative preparation for urgent surgeries and life-threatening conditions, possible acute perioperative complications. - Specifics of nursing care for acute conditions in surgery with respect to the patient's age. - Severe intoxication and associated injury. - The issue of foreign objects and objects in the body - injuries. - Caring for a patient with trauma and polytrauma.
