Lectures 1. Introduction to perioperative care. 2. Specifics of operating room workplaces. 3. Aseptic conditions in operating rooms. 4. Medical devices used in operating rooms. 5. Medical equipment used in operating rooms. 6. Types of surgical procedures. 7. Positioning patients in operating rooms. 8. Documentation in operating rooms. Practicals 1. Communication of the surgical team. 2. Preoperative preparation, preparation of the surgical field. 3. Postoperative care. The most common perioperative complications. 4. Prevention of infection at the surgical site. 5. Teamwork in the operating room. 6. Ethics in the operating room. 7. Patient safety in the operating room. 8. Credit examination.
