Key learning outcomes The graduate disposes of deep knowledge in business economics, management and other selected fields in accordance with the chosen specialisation and this way he/she has been shaped to be able to solve complex theoretical and practical problems in the field of economics and company management independently and creatively and to take an active part in managing business, economic or administrative subjects. The graduate proves advanced special knowledge in the field of economic theory, business economics and management and is ready to carry out research activities. Extended knowledge has been achieved in the field of business economics and methodology of science. Here he/she is, thanks to the achieved knowledge and experience, ready for competent operation in managerial activities including project management, auditing, counselling and implementation of research. With regard to his/her language skills he/she is able to take part in solving problems within international professional and scientific co-operation. He/she is able to analyze problems and solve them in a creative way and present outputs of his/her work. He/she is ready to work responsibly, solve problems and take decisions both as a team member and autonomously. He/she is well equipped for future lifelong education. The graduate of the doctoral studies is equipped with all the necessary skills enabling him/her to function successfully in managerial and economic positions in companies and other organizations. On the basis of the gained knowledge, skills and practical experience he/she is motivated to solve theoretical and practical problems of business economics in an active way.

Profile of the programme This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of theoretically oriented courses. The programme also includes courses focusing on the practical use of acquired theoretical knowledge and skills with a special emphasis on research practice. Emphasis is placed on building relevant theoretical background, thorough analysis of theoretical and empirical materials and students´ own contribution to the area of research.
