Key learning outcomes The graduates prove knowledge and understanding of music, both in the theoretical and the practical realm. They can critically evaluate their methods and get their updates; eventually they can develop them independently. Policy for the next steps is supported by the completion of theoretical and practical courses of the study plan, which are seen from the analytical, aesthetic and critical perspectives. They prove knowledge of modern didactic methods of musical education which may apply in practice. They are involved in creation of texts and teaching aids and their development. The graduates are able to work with a musical composition of various genres and musical forms, both in text form and in the form of sound. They analyse its construction and interpretative approach and they use the results of analysis for musical didactic needs. They diagnose problems arising from teaching music and solve them on the basis of their expertise and skills and individual approach to each student. They have an ability to choose and use suitable the teaching materials including multimedia. The graduates are able to decide independently and solve specific situations in teaching of music education, to explain and defend the chosen teaching methods in a collective of pupils and teachers, they are able to solve a specific problem (from the field of musical education) in a team using appropriate research methods. They are able to explain their professional attitude or opinion before a group and individual. The graduates are able to present the results of the individual and team solutions of a concrete musical theoretical, practical and didactical problem, to advocate it before an expert committee and co-workers; they are also able to lead professional communication in one world language.
