Course content
1. Earth sciences in RVP ZV, subject of study, results and effects 2. Geology in textbooks, information sources 3. Minerals and rocks, origin, use and their determination 4. The Earth, origin, structure and evolution of the Earth crust 5. Endogene and exogene processes 6. Soils 7. Evolution of life, fossils and their determination 8. Geological history of the Czech Republic, review of former and actual conceptions 9. Climate and weather and their relation to life 10. Natural disasters 11. Methods in Earth sciences education 12. Cabinet, geological colletions and exhibions in scholl praxis 13. Geological field trips, their focus and examples of trips

  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester

Knowledge
be familiar with basic principes of mineralogy, petrology, geology and historcial geology in bachelor level
know geological scientific terminology in bachelor level

search important general information in foreign textbooks, journals and databases
