The diploma thesis is a final output of the master programme and it is a prerequisite for the Final State Examination in an appropriate study programme. Students choose one of the topics announced by the Department (CBG, KGE) or they will suggest their own topic, which has to be approved by the supervisor. CBG sets the approval process and other internal regulations, schedules and deadlines. The orderly consultations with the supervisor or consultant prepare the student for a formal aspect of the thesis, familiarise the student with the structure of thesis, bibliographic research, information sources and publication ethics.
