Course content
1. Environmental education - delimitation, FEP - transversal theme, environmental education coordinator, legislative anchoring. 2. Nature conservation. Introduction to issues, activities. 3. Air. Introduction to issues, activities. 4. Water. Introduction to issues, activities. 5. Soil. Introduction to issues, activities. 6. Wastes. Introduction to issues, activities. 7. - 8. Field excursions with ecosystem demonstration (meadow, forest, human settlements, field, pond, river) 9. Health protection. Introduction to issues, activities. 10. Global issues. Introduction to issues, activities. 11. Biodiversity. Introduction to issues, activities. 12. Energy Sources. Introduction to issues, activities. 13. Colloquium for semestral work.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 13 hours per semester

  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 13 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 10 hours per semester

Knowledge
Knowledge of the basic methods of the field and laboratory work in sciences, individual work with literature and websites.The transformation of this knowledge into teaching for students elementary and secondary schools. The use of alternative approaches in teaching environmental education.

Student proposal for a project with environmental issues at the primary or secondary school level.
