Course content
Field trip to natural to semi-natural environment (forest, meadow, pond, human sites) focused on demonstration of common, model, protected or by other way important species of plants, fungi, animals, to geological phemonema focused to didactic transformation of these subjects for education on the basic and secondary schools. Didactic use of model plants, animals, and geological phemonema for biological education in school as well in the field trip on the basic and secondary school levels.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester

Knowledge
know biological and geological terminology at secondary school level
know common species of animals, fungi, plants, rocks and minerals at secondary school level
know principal methods of biological and geological field research
Skills
be familiar with use of biological and geological equipments and instruments (telescope, lens, net, hammer, maps, field guides etc.)
is able on the basis of critical features to determine common species of animals, plants, fungi, rocks and minerals and suppert this determination by correct evidences
