Course content
1. Common work with laboratory material, 2. Legislative information about laboratory work 3.-6. Microscopy methods of light microscopy, 7.-8. Electron microscopy 9. Special microscopy technique, 10.-11. Preparing of microscopy preparates (native and permanent) 12. Methodology of colouring 13. Cultivation of authotroph and heterothroph

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 15 hours per semester

Student has high school knowledge in physics, biology, chemistry. Student can prepare common microscopy preparates.

to be able to work with a microscope and a binocular magnifier On the basis of the assigned task to specify the goals, results and conclusions of their own observation at the gymnasium level Be able to write a laboratory protocol

To know the legislative conditions of working with biological material Know electron microscopy, special microscopic techniques Know how to prepare different microscopic preparations To know the preparation of cultivation methods of autotrophic and heterotrophic organisms Know the principles of the operation and use of laboratory instruments (eg PCR cycler, oxymetr, fluorimeter, centrifuge) To be able to solve specific nasty issues
