Course content
The students visit 5 geography lessons at elementary or high schools. Students observe the lessons and they analyse the lesson by method of 3A (annotation, analysis, alteration). The students evaluate the lessons during the discussion with teacher and in seminar work.

  • Attendance on a field trip (number of real hours - maximum 8h/day) - 5 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 4 hours per semester
  • Graduate study programme term essay (40-50) - 30 hours per semester

to explain the mechanism of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and give examples from lessons

to describe the timing and structure of lessons and give examples

to analyze the lesson according to choice of teaching methods, organisation forms, timing, evaluation etc.
to analyze teh lesson according to the content (correctness, appropriateness to age of pupils, didactical transformation etc.)
to evaluate selected teaching situations and to vindicate the evaluation by relevant arguments
compare reflective methods of work of both pupils and teacher
develop metacognition of educational process both own and of pupils
