Week 1: The Colonial and Early American Period, Enlightenment Week 2: The Rise of national literature, Romanticism Week 3: Late American Romanticism - Transcendentalism Week 4: American realism and naturalism Week 5: American Poetry of the 2nd Half of the 19th century Week 6: Early 20th century American Realist Fiction Week 7: Lost Generation, 'Jazz Age', American Modernism Week 8: American Fiction of the 1930s 'Southerners' Week 9: The Forties and Fifties American Jewish literature Week 10: The sixties and Seventies The Black American Literature Week 11: American Drama Postmodernism Week 12: Final test Week 13: Credits
