Course content
Základní témata: 1. Current land surveying and its use and contribution in archaeology 2. The analysis of historical map documentation and the possibility of its use in archaeology 3. The construction-measured method 4. The orthogonal method 5. The polar methods 6. Digital data processing 7. The use of data in processing the outputs, presentation of individual sites and publication 8. The orthogonal method and its use in documenting archeological probes and profiles 9. Polar methods in the creation of comprehensive plans of archaeological situations 10. The basics and use of single-image photogrammetry 11. The basics and use of stereophotogrammetry 12. The basics and use of intersection photogrammetry

Learning activities and teaching methods

To individually implement documentation of minor historical monuments by structural measurement, including digital exports (DXF, DWG etc.)
To perform basic drawing, export and printing in a CAD environment
To use the orthogonal method for documenting archaeological trenches and profiles
To use the polar method for creating overall plans of archaeological sites
To be able to conduct documentation of more complex archaeological situations and surveys independently, using various methods in the process
