Course content
1. Introduction to museology 2. History of world museums 3. History of Czech museums 4. Theory of museum selection. Theory of museum thesaurization 5. Theory of museum communication 6. Special questions of general museology: Museum legislature. Museum as an institution. 7. Organization and museum management. Principles of museum collection. 8. Description of museum articles. Record of collection articles. 9. Storage of collection articles, excursion included. 10. Basics of museum conservation and renovation. 11. Presentation of museum collections. Museum as a research and scientific workplace. Museum as a part of educational system. 12. Monument care (management and care). Legislature of the monument care. Preservation and record of movable and immovable archaeological monuments. 13. Legislature of archaeological work (archaeological research, possession of archaeological finds).
