Course content
1. Introduction to museology 2. History of world museums 3. History of Czech museums 4. Theory of museum selection. Theory of museum thesaurization 5. Theory of museum communication 6. Special questions of general museology: Museum legislature. Museum as an institution. 7. Organization and museum management. Principles of museum collection 8. Description of museum articles. Record of collection articles 9. Storage of collection articles, excursion included 10. Basics of museum conservation and renovation 11. Presentation of museum collections. Museum as a research and scientific workplace. Museum as a part of educational system 12. Monument care (management and care). Legislature of the monument care. Preservation and record of movable and immovable archaeological monuments 13. Legislature of archaeological work (archaeological research, possession of archaeological finds)
