Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 60 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Individual project (40) - 44 hours per semester

Knowledge
Students have a grasp of archaeological theory and methodology (MA level).
Skills
Students understand scientific text in Czech and English and are able to interpret and critically assess its content. Students know how to utilize electronic information resources. Students are capable of working systematically and independently. Students are capable of formally presenting their research and leading scientific discussions.

Knowledge
Students have an overview of the contemporary possibilities and issues of the archaeological study of the selected issues and they are able to recognize differences between local and foreign theoretical and methodological approaches.

Students are able to apply modern approaches and methods in the research of the archaeological contexts in the Czech Republic.
