Course content
1. Introduction to film and television production, film means of expression. 2. Recording on classic film material, film cameras, film screenings. 3. The video, its specifics, camera control. 4. Literary training film. 5. Shooting Basics: Creating an image I. 6. Shooting Basics: Creating an image II. 7. Work basis in a nonlinear editing software. 8. Codecs in digital videorecording 9. Basics of Editing 10. Basics of Editing II. 11. Work with sound in film and video. 12. Basics of light when shooting. 13. Post-production film. From painting to art.

to be able to use on basic level PC and basic computer guided and digital programs for creation of graphics, animations, etc., to design visual graphics metaphors with erudition on options of movie creations, in a few steps to describe the story through means of artistic expression, to work independently and flexibly react to evaluating commentary of the teacher, to show own creativity on generally assigned task, to show the will to find different artistic solutions, alter them and constructivelly evaluate

Knowledge
of basic terminology of film production and its techniques and technologies, about technological procedures of film acquisition and processing of videorecording, about basic stylistic forms of movie (documentary, reportary, etude,etc.)

to apply theiretical knowledge of techniques and technologies in iwn work, to select the appropriate means for implementation of audiovisual work by estimating its difficulty, to draw up a scenario of a short documentary film, coverage or fiction études and subsequent implementation of the film with both image and sound components
