Course content
1. Subject and screenplay of the film. 2. Film production, technical means of film-making and their choice depending on the subject. 3. /Film crew/. 4. HDTV, HDV, Digital Cinema in connection with recording and distributing video. 5. Aesthetics of film images. 6. Audio and video film dramaturgy. 7. Color correction of images in film and video. 8. Contemporary documentary film in the Czech Republic. 9. Documentary film and its genres 1. 10. Documentary film and its genres 2. 11. Genres of feature film 1. 12. Genres of feature film 2 . 13. Genres of feature film 3.

To have basic knowlegde of using a camcorder, sound, editing software.
to compare and analyze different artistic expressions by criteria of esthetics, semiotics and technique on basic level to specify basic knowledge of supporting arts disciplines and their techniques and technologies, options of overlop of film production to other disciplines, to reproduce knowledge about visual means suitable for movie creation and their usage by different tools and editors,
Skills
to be able to use on basic tools and means of work with camera, sound and editing softwares, to design visual graphics metaphors with erudition on options of movie creations, to draw a simple scenario for a basic film unit, in a few steps to describe the story through means of artistic expression, to work independently and flexibly react to evaluating commentary of the teacher, to show own creativity on generally assigned task, to show the will to find different artistic solutions, alter them and constructivelly evaluate

of advanced terminology of film production and its techniques and technologies, about advanced technological procedures of film acquisition and processing of videorecording, about advanced stylistic forms of movie, about dependance of scenario creating on real options of production,

to apply theiretical knowledge of techniques and technologies in iwn work, to select the appropriate means for implementation of audiovisual work by estimating its difficulty and suitable organization of work, to draw up a scenario of a short movie and its realization with implementation of the film with image, sound and postproduction components, to be able to find suitable solutions for particular implementation,
