Course content
1. Semestral work + general introduction to the topic + lecture on photographic individuality. 2. lecture and discussion on the topic of the leaders of contemporary world photography. (External lecturer, art theorist.) 3. Consultation of author´s project concept. 4. Implementation of photos. 5. Implementation of photos 7. Implementation of photos. 6. Implementation of photos 8. Implementation of photos. 9. The concept presentation. 10. Final selection of pictures + harmonization of the content. 11. Preparation for printing. 12. Finalizing of the project. 13. Final form consultation. Setting the terms for ongoing consultations and class assignments and the final semester project final semestral work. Setting the deadline for submission of fully completed semester final project - in accordance with the requirements of the teacher. Setting the deadline for submission of the other required tasks according to the teacher's requirements. Student creates an author´s photo set, in which he/she only focuses on his/her own artistic and craftsmanship. The set is not limited either by its content or form, but it must create a comprehensive project, which is a clear testimony to the author's profile.

to recall knowledge about a wider range of advanced visual means of photography in its various forms, its individual genres, their combinations and their relation to the cultural context, to recall and apply the knowledge of aspects and influences of choosing of the motives, the composition of imagery, their intelligibility and intelligibility of their presentation, rytmization and graphic design, to use knowledge about visual means suitable for development of photographic author book involving communication with the graphic designer, to interpret own knowledge about historical and contemporary style canons and their possible conections, to use the suitable ways of mechanism of communication with the client to determine his/her requirements, of communication with graphic designer, to critically assess his/her own work in a discipline context, to plan a project in the production team dealing with complex tasks, about ways to justify and defend your own design activity in relation to other members of the production and team,
Skills
design a photographic project based on the knowledge of advanced photographic technology, new materials, in accordance with the requirements of the advertisers and with his own authorial sense,, to be able to combine and alter them during the work on a concept of an exhibition, to manage the postproduction of photographic material and technological, production and economic aspects of project implementation,, to choose the appropriate technology for producing the final product based on its usage, to adequatelly assess the quality of the scanned material, consider printing method, material,format and adjustment, paying special attention to the selection of the topic, the selection and composition of video material, communication significence, rhythm and graphic design, to reflect its work in the context of professional, technical and technological processes, to submit his proposal and selection to the contracting authority and justify it in the respect to the task and his/her requirements, to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, to select the most suitable variant of the final photographic project and create complex design documentation and create a model, to choose appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the photographic author book in cooperation with graphic designer, with erudition, to present his work to the professional community, to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response, to be fully involved in the activities of the production team dealing with complex tasks, to explain and defend his/her choice from other members of the production team, to be able to accept and assert in a way the evaluation and critical response

about planning more complex photographic project in a form of author photography serie aimed as testimony of authors profile and as searching for individual photographic language, about designing variants with a view to correctly linking the function and aesthetics, quality of shooted images and the prove of own artistic and craft skills, of ways of communicating with the contracting authority in order to identify his / her requirements, communicating with graphic designer and about procedures and methods of his work, about technological procedures of supporting disciplines cooperating on the development of the project, about technical and technological specifics of printing, materials and surfaces etc., about concept plannig of possible photographic series, about possible inspiration and information sources, about aspects and influences of choosing of the motives, the composition of imagery, their intelligibility and intelligibility of their presentation, rytmization and graphic design,

to individually choose a sphere of creation and develop a concept of the photographic serie project including to choose own general task and alter it, writes and equips visualization of the project research and project documentation includin referentional authors and inspirational resources, to be an active part of a team, to represent own discipline and profession and to individually learn to help develop the common project, to activelly communicate with the graphic designer, to choose the appropriate technology for developing photography serie project, its postproduction, propagation and promotioe, etc.,, to export meant visual into suitable photographic techniques in a form of given techniques or artistic experiment leading to positive progress of own individual style, to critically assess his/her own work in the field context and style framework, to choose appropriate forms of presentation and promotion of the prototype/project, to use options of wotk with graphic designer and other professions, to justify the value of the product / project in the interdisciplinary context, in fornt of a customer and other members of a team, to practically apply conceptual artistic thinking, to assesses the interaction with the role of spectator and the aspect of motives and the forms of elaborating them.,
