Course content
1. Semestal work assignment + general introduction to the topic + historical overview of the documentary photography genre. 2. Lecture and discussion on a contemporary documentary photography and media practice (external lecturer of media photo). 3. Consultation of a chosen topic + intended concept. 4. First results of the research + technical solution suggestions 5. Presentation of the research + examples of technical solutions. 6. Consultations . 7. Ongoing consultations. 8. Ongoing consultations. 9. selection of the pictorial material + harmonization of the text with the visual material. 10. Graphic design in collaboration with the Graphic Design Department. 11. Preparation for printing. 12. Finalizing the project. 13. Final form consultation. Setting the terms for ongoing consultations and class assignments and the final semester project final semestral work. Setting the deadline for submission of fully completed semester final project - in accordance with the requirements of the teacher. Setting the deadline for submission of the other required tasks according to the teacher's requirements. The outcome of this semester will be an extensive photographic document with an accompanying text. The student will choose the topic.

Knowledge
To realize an advertising campaign: to choose the product being offered, do a study of the target group, formulate an advertising slogan, to design original and distinctive rendition of the advertising campaign - prepare its draft versions incl. calculation of costs; in cooperation with the graphic designer create a final version for print media. The course is designed only for FDA students.
