Course content
Lectures 1. Comprehensive care for the unconscious patient. Polyneuropathy and myopathy of critically ill patients. 2. Sudden stroke; seizures, infectious and inflammatory CNS diseases. 3. Specifics of care for a patient with severe internal environment disorders, metabolic disorders (glycaemia disorders) water and electrolyte management and acid-base balance. 4. Analgosedation in intensive care. Scoring schemes in intensive care. 5. Intoxication. Specifics of patient care after drug intoxication, CO. 6. Urgent resuscitation according to ERC guidelines 2015. Cardiac arrest and urgent resuscitation in health care equipment. 7. Care for patient after urgent resuscitation - poresuscitation care, targeted regulation of body temperature. 8. Nutritional support in intensive care. 9. Specifics of pac care. with life-threatening trauma and with polytrauma in intensive care. 10. Specifics of intensive care for children including psychological approach. Exercises 1.-2. Anaesthesiology and Pain Management 1. 3.-4. Anaesthesiology and Pain Management 2. 5.-6. Anesthesiology and Pain Management 3. 7.-8. Cardiac arrest and urgent resuscitation in a medical facility - practical training - part 1. 9.-10.
