Course content
1. Introduction to nutrition in physiotherapy 2. Digestion and metabolism of nutrients 3. Overweight and obesity: biomechanical and nutritional connections in physiotherapy 4. Nutrition and regeneration after stress, injuries and operations 5. Nutrition, immunity and the recovery process 6. Body composition and nutritional connections in physiotherapy 7. Nutrition in specific patient groups 8. Nutrition in internal diseases relevant to physiotherapy 9. Eating disorders and psychological aspects of nutrition 10. Practical nutritional recommendations for physiotherapists 11. Evidence-based nutrition and interdisciplinary cooperation

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 22 hours per semester
