Blood particle analyzers and coagulometers, screening and special coagulation tests, calibration and validation of hemocoagulation methods. 9. Laboratory diagnosis of blood diseases and disorders of hemostasis, differential diagnosis. 10. Pathophysiology of blood diseases and disorders of hemostasis. 11. Tumor disorders of hematopoietic cells - leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disease, lymphoproliferative disease. A Lab exercise 1. Principles of proper laboratory work. 2. Examination of the blood picture on an automatic hematological analyzer. 3. Examination of peripheral blood smears microscopically, determination of the number of blood elements in the counting chamber. 4. Microscopic examination of bone marrow smears. 5. Investigation of hemolysis including osmotic resistance of erythrocytes. 6. Examination of platelet aggregation on an aggregometer. 7. Examination of basic coagulation tests - prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time on a coagulometer. 8. Determination of factors of the plasma system of blood coagulation. 9.
