Course content
Lectures 1. General principles of immunoassay. 2. Basic substances, separation techniques. 3. Types of immunoanalytical methods, advantages/disadvantages of individual types of analysis. 4. Specific preanalytical problems in immunoanalysis. 5. Basic types of instruments for immunoanalysis. Manual pipetting methods, semi-automatic devices, automatic devices. 6. Multiplex analysis. 7. Quality parameters of immunoassay. Internal and external quality control. Evidence of selected ions. 8. Main principles of interpretation of results. 9. Overview of the clinical application of immunoanalytical methods. 10. - 12. Use and specifics of application in endocrinology. A Lab exercise 1. - 5. Radioimmunoanalysis. 6. - 8. Chemiluminescence. 9. - 11. Evaluation of internal and external quality control. 12. Credit test.
