Course content
Lectures 1. General microbiology: Basic characteristics of individual types of microorganisms. Pathogenicity of microorganisms. Antimicrobial therapy. 2. Fundamentals of immunology. Immunology pathology. 3. General knowledge of infectious diseases. The process of transmission of infection, its articles. Anti-epidemic measures. Vaccination. 4. Respiratory tract infections Digestive tract infections. 5. Urinary tract infections. CNS infection. Wound infections. 6. Infectious skin diseases. Viral hepatitis. Zoonoses. 7. Insect and arthropod infections. Sexually transmitted infections. 8. Sepsis. Nosocomial infections. Bioterrorism. 9. The issue of travel medicine. Hygiene - overview of the field. 10. Hygiene of work. Healthcare Hygiene. Occupational health risks. So-called. civilization diseases.
