Lectures: Basics of Clinical Microbiology - history, distribution. Microbiological taxonomy, anatomy and physiology of the microorganism, pathogenicity, virulence, physiological organism colonization by microorganisms and its importance. Sampling and transmission of infectious material, documentation, registration, transport. Basics and principles of microbiological testing methods, interpretation of results of microbiological examinations. Health and safety at work. Decontamination. General epidemiology and epidemiological methods of work. Nosocomial infections. General bacteriology. Special bacteriology and special epidemiology. General and special mycology and mycological epidemiology. General virology. Special virology and special epidemiology. General parasitology. Special parasitology and epidemiology. Antibiotics and chemotherapeutics. Basic immunological techniques overview. Immunological examinations.
