Course content
1. Explanation of notions such as microbiology, immunology, epidemiology and hygiene. 2.Importance of these disciplines for diagnostics and prevention. 3.Necessity of cooperation with specialties of clinical medicine. 4.Environment, ecology. 5.Medical microbiology 6.Definition of the discipline.Basic knowledge on morphology, the chemical composition, physiology. 7. Reproduction in laboratory conditions (culture medium, tissular cultures, chicken embryos, test animals). 8.Microbiota in a healthy human. 9.Pathogenicity of microbes. 10.The effect of antibiotics and chemotherapeutical effect, resistence of microorganisms. 11.Immunology. 12.Notion of infection and immunity. Brief characteristics of the field of medical immunology. 13.Notions like immunity and sensitivity.Principle of immunity mechanisms. 14.Specific and non-specific ones. 15.Credit test
