Course content
Lectures 1. Therapeutic application of RF in nuclear medicine - radiation synovectomy 2. Radioactive iodine treatment. 3. Palliative therapy in nuclear medicine. Metastron. 4. Application of scintigraphy in pediatrics, used methodology, specifics of childhood. 5. Lymphoscintigraphy. 6. Detection of sentinel node in melanomas and breast Ca. 7. Scintigraphic methods in endocrinology, thyroid scinti and parathyroid glands. 8. Repetition Exercises 1. - 2. The role of middle personnel in intracranial RF administration. 3. - 4. Rules of Conduct at the Inpatient Dept. nuclear medicine. 5. - 6. Cooperation with a child patient. 7. - 8. Practical realization of sentinel node detection in breast and melanoma.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 35 hours per semester
