Course content
Lectures 1. State health supervision. Monitoring, biomonitoring - BET, genetic toxicology. 2. Legislative definition of risk factors and health protection measures. 3. Physical influences of the living and working environment - temperature and humidity, noise, vibration, radiation, lighting. 4. Chemical pollutants in the living and working environment. 5. Biological factors of the living and working environment. 6. Nutrition, regulation of food intake, influence of nutrition on health, nutritional recommendations. 7. Food safety and health safety. Preventive and routine hygiene supervision in food hygiene. 8. Health-safe water. Indicators of the quality of drinking water, bathing water and their sources. 9. Smoking - smoking issues, health problems of smokers, prevention options. 10. Addictions, addictive behavior. Consequences, prevention. 11. Community projects to promote health - a healthy school, a healthy city, a healthy company, a healthy family. The importance of socioeconomic and behavioral factors for a healthy lifestyle. Cooperation between departments to promote health. 12. Credit test.
