Course content
Practicals 1. - 2. General principles and division of first aid - Meaning and distribution of first aid, rescue chain - Basic vital functions and examination of the affected person - Ethical aspects of PP, criminal liability for failure to provide PP - IZS - Positions used in first aid - Securing the scene of the accident, the safety of the rescuer and the victim 3. - 4. ERC Guidelines 2021 - Unconscious states - first aid - Division of emergency resuscitation - Diagnosis of sudden circulatory arrest - Ensuring airway patency during basic emergency resuscitation - Indirect cardiac massage - Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 5. - 6. Practical training in emergency resuscitation, working with AED 7. - 8. Wounds. Building bleeding. - Dealing wounds - Foreign bodies in wounds - Injury by animals - Loss injuries - Division of bleeding - External and internal bleeding - Bleeding from body openings 9. - 10. Thermal injuries - Burns - assessment of extent of burns - Chemical injuries - burns - Sunburn, sunburn - Frostbite - Electric shock 11. - 12. Fractures. Injury to the spine, spinal cord. Chest injury. Head injury. Polytrauma. - Fractures - division, principles of first aid. - Cervical spine injury. Thoracic spine injury. Lumbar spine injury. - Chest injury. - Head injury. - Polytrauma. 13. - 14. Intoxication. First aid for serious internal conditions. - Intoxication - technical and medical assistance. - Chest pain, acute coronary syndrome. - Convulsive conditions in children and adults. - Sudden conditions in diabetes. - Shortness of breath. - Stroke. 15. Credit.
