Course content
Lectures 1. Effect of radiation on a cell. 2. Tissue distribution by sensitivity to irradiation into classes (Rubin). 3. Tissue distribution according to irradiation response to individual types (F, H, F-H and tumor). 4. Growth theory of tumor population, intervention models. 5. Time factor - 4R. 6. Effect of radiation on organs - therapeutic width and ratio. 7. - 8. Fractionation, fractionation modes. 9. Damage by ionizing radiation (radiation syndrome and disease, professional damage), RBÚ. 10. Protection against ionizing radiation. 11. Repetition.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 11 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester
