Course content
1. Introduction to radioecology. 2. Physical sources of radioactivity and their impact on the environment. 3 to 5 Radioecology aquatic and forest ecosystems, radio-ecological issues in agriculture. Radioactive contamination of food intake. 6th Radon and its decay products. Mining and processing of uranium ore. 7. Nuclear power plant. Chernobyl reactor accident. 8th Radioactive waste. 9.Other sources of ionizing radiation- effect of non-ionizing radiation and other physical factors on the environment. UV radiation, visible radiation, IF radiation, temperature, pressure, changes in climate.
