Course content
Lectures 1. Principles of radiation protection, legislation. 2. Stochastic and deterministic effects of radiation. 3. Quantities and units used in radiation protection. 4. Exposure Limits. 5. Reasonably achievable levels of radiation protection, how to achieve and demonstrate them. 6. Dealing with sources of ionizing radiation from the point of view of radiation protection and distribution, permission for disposal, duties authorization holders. 7. Medical exposure in terms of radiation protection. Categorization of workers with ionizing radiation. 8. Controlled band, monitoring. 9. Provision of emergency preparedness, internal emergency plan, classification of extraordinary events.
